Why Responsible 100?
We live in a time of unprecedented inequality, volatility, uncertainty, risk and breakdown; a time of increasing and evolving polycrisis.
We can freeze, given the enormity of it all. We can deny reality or pretend it doesn’t apply to us. We can pursue some narrow or tangential agenda, or otherwise rearrange the deck chairs on the stricken ocean liner.
But we believe there is a better choice. Responsible 100 is built on the idea that effective and worthwhile actions are available to all who organisations and individuals that refuse to compete in a race to the bottom.
We serve businesses and organisations committed to systematically increasing their positive impacts on people and planet, and decreasing their negative impacts, as far and wide as possible.
Some businesses are willing and able to tell the truth and try their best. Our belief is that it is possible to coordinate their interests and actions, with those of NGOs, campaign groups and other relevant experts working to create a better world. And, in due course, with the interests of consumers, employees and investors wishing to play their part.
